Almost immediatley after his release from Mountjoy Prison, Joe Higgins appeared via telephone on Rodney Rice's Saturday View political debate show. Joe debated the bin tax issue with members of the main establishment parties, fellow Dublin West TD Brian Lenihan (Fianna Fail), Eamonn Gilmore (Labour) and Olivia Mitchell (Fine Gael).

Joe Higgins vs Michael McDowell on Questions & Answers

On Monday night, Joe was one of the guests on John Bowman's Questions & Answers TV show political debate show. Also guesting on the show was Minister for Justice Michael McDowell (Progressive Democrats) and Joe took the oppurtunity to tear into government policy on various issues from the bin tax to immigration.
